2006

ON24, a leading online furniture store in Estonia and Finland (www.on24.ee, www.on24.fi) created its logistics department to deliver ordered goods to customers by courier.

2007

ON24’s logistics department (Infero Logistika Ltd., later changed to SmartPOST Ltd.) started providing logistics services to other distance selling businesses (mostly online stores and mail order catalogs).

In May 2007, SmartPOST (www.smartpost.ee) started to develop hardware and software for APM (automated parcel machine) networks.

2008
State-owned Estonian Development Fund together with private investors invested 2 million euros into Cleveron's share capital for the APM (automated parcel machine) network development.
2009
SmartPOST started providing automated parcel machine services (www.smartpost.ee). 36 APMs (automated parcel machines) were installed in shopping malls all over Estonia, the usability of which varies according to the number of people living in the proximity of the given machine.

SmartPOST's parcel machine service was declared the logistics deed of the year at annual logistics conference.
2010
After operating for two years, the network along with its brand name was sold to Itella Corporation (former Finnish Post). After the transaction the company changed its name to Cleveron. By the time the brand was sold:
  • More than 5% of the population had used the service
  • 25 % of Estonian distance selling parcel market was achieved
  • More than 1000 business clients had registered to use the service

Cleveron received the first order from Itella Corporation to build an APM (automated parcel machine) network of 15 terminals in Finland

Cleveron received the first order from CPCR Express to build an APM (automated parcel machine) network of 20 terminals in Russia.
2011
Itella SmartPOST launched an automatic parcel machine network of 15 terminals with Cleveron's technology in Finland. Automated parcel machines are located in shopping centers and other public places with long operating hours in the Greater Helsinki area. 50 parcel terminals were installed by the end of 2011.

Cleveron introduced the concept of PackRobot,
a new generation of APMs (automated parcel machines) with highest quantity of stored parcels per square meter.
2012
Running on Cleveron's initial business model, Itella SmartPOST achieved 50 % of the parcel delivery market (B2C) in Estonia.

First cross-border APM (automated parcel machine) network between Estonia and Finland using Cleveron's technology.
2013
Cleveron and Itella's cooperation expanded, increasing the number of terminals in Finland to over 300.
2014
The first space-saving parcel terminal called PackRobot was launched in Itella’s APM (automated parcel machine) network in Estonia.

Cleveron installed a test-network of six machines in Brazil.

Cleveron launched new CleverBox Automated Parcel Machine with unique drawer slots for small parcels and letters.

Cleveron opened new assembly plant in Viljandi, Estonia to handle increased demand for products.

New parcel delivery network of ten machines was installed in Spain.

Norway Post launched pilot network of 30 APMs (automated parcel machines) in Norway.
2015
Foxpost launched pilot network of 51 terminals in Hungary

Cleveron partnered with Bell and Howell to introduce APM (automated parcel machine) delivery to North America.

Cleveron launched the next generation delivery solution PackRobot, which dramatically advances the delivery and pick-up capabilities of parcel networks.

The largest Cleveron technology based network of 500 machines is in Finland.
2016
Cleveron's service brand CollectNet launched the open network of parcel points pilot in Estonia based upon the PackRobot parcel delivery solution.

Speedy launched pilot network of more than 20 APMs (automated parcel machines) in Bulgaria.

5 PackRobots were installed in the USA for WalMart.

Cleveron's PackRobot was announced the winner of "Delivery Innovation of the Year" by Postal Technology.

Smart Mile Solutions and Citydibs installed first PackRobot in Nagold, Germany.

By the end of 2016, Cleveron has installed total of 720 automated parcel terminals.
