Cleveron took part in an international conference and fair PosTech 2011 that took place 14-16 March 2011 in Dubai. Cleveron's export director Mr. Indrek Oolup gave a speech in the conference.

CLEVERON, the company that created a network of self-service parcel terminals which operates successfully in Estonia under the brand name SmartPOST, has signed a deal with the Finnish logistics company Itella Corporation (i.e Finnish Post) for selling the local network, in order to concentrate on expanding to foreign markets.

Russia’s largest privately funded postal company CPCR Express signed an agreement in Tallinn this week, according to which Estonian technology provider Cleveron will deliver parcel terminal network solution for installation in Russia.

The Smartpost’s parcel terminal service, which allows a person to person parcel delivery via terminals, launched in April 2009, was declared a logistics deed of the year at annual logistics conference.

A company that has installed parcel terminals with venture capital financing in major shopping centers aims to become a market leader by the end of the year despite of the economic downturn.

SmartPost installed a probably the largest known parcel terminal in Lasnamäe Centrum shopping center in last week.

Last week witnessed more than 1000 people who used SmartPost's self-service "post offices" i.e. parcel terminals on a single day.

Mr. Indrek Oolup, member of the board, SmartPOST, told after signing the memorandum of cooperation: “It is well known that Estonian e-commerce is relatively less developed compared to the other European countries.

All people in Estonia can use parcel terminals to send their parcels as of April 24.

SmartPOST OÜ started to build its network of self-servicing “post offices” in the summer of 2008.

SmartPOST took part in an international conference and fair PosTech 2008  that took place 16-18 November 2008. in Egypt Sharm-El-Sheikh.

SmartPOST took part in an international fair Postexpo 2008 that took place in London from September 30th to October 2nd 2008.

Itella Logistics uses SmartPOST’s parcel automates as drop off points for consumers in Estonia.
