CleverFlex is now in the iconic Zara Corso Vittorio Emanuele Milan store

06.09.2018 | CleverFlex, Zara
Zara’s remodelled Milan store on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, opened on September 6th, is considered to be one of the brand’s most representative global flagship shops. In addition to a glamorous new look, the store also incorporates the traditional brick-and-mortar environment with technological innovations.

Just like the Stratford store in London, the Milan store has a department exclusively for online orders. The online order pickup is handled by Cleveron’s CleverFlex, which turns manual in-store click and collect parcel pickup into world’s fastest automated self-service. The client places an order in the online store, receives an order code, scans the code at the machine and receives the parcel in a matter of seconds. For the retailer, CleverFlex has the world’s fastest parcel loading, taking in 10 parcels per minute.

Milan’s store is located in an old Astra cinema and features marble floors, mosaics and chandeliers. CleverFlex is integrated inside the store’s walls, so it blends perfectly with the shop’s interior. The parts visible for the shoppers are covered with antique brass to match the renovated ultra-chick and luxurious look.

The cooperation between Inditex and Cleveron began in 2017 with a pilot project in Spain. Two CleverFlex parcel robots are also providing the online order pickup self-service in Zara’s pioneering flagship store in Stratford, UK.
